I was skeptical when I received this as gift. I now have two and am absolutely delighted by the results. We love tomatoes and fresh herbs. My plants are loaded with tomatoes and I truly enjoy cooking with my very own fresh herbs. Will be getting 2 more so I can enjoy even more fresh veggies. Thank you for such a great concept. Definitely have a happy customer here.

This is a great review with very helpful tips. I got herb seeds, and I wasn’t sure which setting to use. You have info that isn’t in the grow guide.

The light is flashing red. The shut off button won’t shut it off. I unplugged it and let it sit for 10 minutes. Still flashes when plugged back in. Water level is good. No roots interfering with the pump. Any ideas as to what’s wrong?

Good Info, now I need to know about the lighting. I have a Ahopegarden 10 pods.
I can’t seem to figure out the lighting. Do I turn it off and on or is it smart enough
on its own to regulate the light schedule? Do I just plug it in and press power
or something else? Eagerly wait for your advise. Thanks!

I received a 10 pod planter as a gift at Christmas. After six weeks of limited germination success, the lights stopped functioning so the planter is now worthless. And beyond 30 day return. Of course, made in China.

Great web site and review here, thanks! I’ve got my Ahopegarden up and running and getting sprouts (12 plant model) and quickly realizing I may have overdone it with a range of plant types that will need more room soon enough. For cucumbers and tomatoes, how do you manage the plant and fruit as it all gets larger – won’t it start to droop all over the place? Should I consider transplanting the tomatoes into an individual, larger water pot with a trellis? Just can’t imagine how this is going to work with larger plants.

Hi! I’ve been watching your videos frantically as I (owner of two Harvests, 360 and regular 1.0) try to decide if I can squeeze a Bounty into my home for peppers and cucumbers. Maybe this is a better option. I was wondering:
1) Can you use Aerogarden pods with this model? Will they fit? I have a backlog.
2) Can you put this model into the dishwasher, or will that not work because the main unit is one piece?
(bonus third question is whether the Bounty can go in the dishwasher. The manual doesn’t say!)

Thanks for all your useful information! I’d love to see something on growing scallions in an aerogarden…I’ve tried from seed and it didn’t go well!
